After installing http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2975719 on my Windows Server 2012 R2 machines, BatchPatch displays “Windows Update: Error: 0” instead of “Windows Update: There are no applicable updates” when checking those machines for updates.
Thank you for reporting this error. It has been fixed in the build published 8/13/2014.
