    Hello,

I’m new to batch patch. I’m attempting to execute a registry deployment to another PC. The registry file is on a mapped network drive. When attempting to deploy, Batch Patch says the file is not found. I’ve also patched my registry with the EnableLinkedConnections registry entry.

When I use the network address path instead of the drive path, it will find the file but I have to use that network address’s credentials to obtain the file, but then of course those credentials are wrong for the PC it is to be deployed to and it fails.

I would suggest that you just put the reg file on the BP computer and then deploy it from there.

Yes that’s a decent idea though a tough pill to swallow considering the the tons of files that now need to be copied to my local machine first. ugh

Now I get access denied even though I’m using the local admin credential and registry key

Have a look at the ‘Access is Denied’ section of this posting.
