    Hi,

I´m thinking of using BatchPatch for some post installation tasks on newly installed virtual servers. These steps are executed, pretty much manually now…..

    1. Move computer account from a OU to another (probably used by some script or dsmove.exe, havn’t figured it out yet.)
    2. Put computer account into a AD security group (probably a PS script, havn’t figured it out yet)
    3. Install Monitoring MSI 1 from share
    4. Install Antivirus MSI 2 from share
    5. Install and configure BGInfo from share
    6. Patch Windows
    7. Reboot

Can this all be solved by doing a “Job Que” or is it not possible to accomplish at all?

    Thanks….

Yes, this can be done with a job queue.

Perfect! I have done some testing with BatchPatch today and can get step 3-7 to work. AWESOME!!!
Does anybody have examples of scripts or commands that can solve step 1 and 2.

I know this is not BatchPath related….but If someone have a solution that would be much appriciated. Thanks!
