Automating checking the categories for Download Offline updates Repository

Hello,

I wrote a PS to download the Wsusscn2.cab using start-bittransfer, but what’s the purpose of Download Microsoft Offline Scan file under Tools please?
See screenshot below:

Before I go down the rabbit hole and write an UI automation for tools –> Download Offline update Repository. Checking which Operating Systems, Application and languages. Is there a way to have the settings stick to a set of rules?

PS: There is a typo on Tools –> Download “Offine” it’s missing an L.

I’d appreciate any help I can get.

I’m not really sure what your goal is. Why would you want to write an automation tool for this? What is the goal? What will your tool accomplish that is not accomplished in BatchPatch?

Starting within the last couple of months the download of the WsusScn2.cab is failing inside of BatchPatch because Microsoft changed the way the download link behaves which broke the existing download code inside of BatchPatch. It will be fixed in the next release, coming in the not too distant future.
