    I just purchased BP a few days ago it is an awesome tool. The primary reason I purchased it was for Windows Update auditing.

    I have run the report to show me the windows update history and I have a handful of servers that report the following error:

    Windows Update: Failed to obtain result. Could not find file \ServerC$Program FilesBatchpatchBatchpatchTempResult.log

    These servers are all running 2008R2 and have identical Windows Firewall settings, a few of them even have the firewall off and report this error. They can do everything else including downloading and installing updates and showing me CPU info, etc however this never works. I can run it and watch it generate the file as well. Was looking for some help! Thanks.

    Spent hours trying to figure out the problem. Still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Matt ended up running BatchPatch on a different computer without any problems. All target computers were reporting properly when running BP from a different computer. We did not isolate the exact cause of the issue on his original computer.
