Updates not found

Hi All,

I’m new to batch patch and having a few issues, so looking for some guidance.

So, I have batch patch running from a central server and i’m running batch patch in Offline/Cached mode due to my network having no outside access to the internet.

So i added a test machine to BatchPPatch and retrieved the consolidated URL list of updates which showed the machine needing around 107 patches. So downloaded the updates and I can see them all sitting in the cache. When I instruct the test machine to install the downloaded updates, it does the search and then keeps saying “Windows Update: There are no updates available for installation” despite the cache settings being correct in Batchpatch and all of the updates being available.

What am i missing or doing wrong here ?

The updates are downloaded to the cache, yes. However, they are not downloaded to the targets. Use “Download available updates” before you use “Install downloaded updates” or use “Download and install updates” to get them from the cache onto the targets.
