    I am having an intermittent issue with Email Notifications. I will get successful notifications about half the time. Other times, I get the errors below. Any thoughts?

    Service not available, closing transmission channel. The server response was: 4.7.0 [12.16.77.110 15] Our system has detected that this message is

    SmtpStatusCode: ServiceNotAvailable

    Please verify your settings.

    Found the solution. IF you are using gmail for smtp, you have to allow “Less Secure Apps” for the email account that is used in BatchPass.
