Hi,
I’m wondering where the Job Queue details get saved … I’d like to be able to export/import saved queues, to share with others in my dept, or backup my config.
I did a quick check of the registry & AppData but it wasn’t immediately apparent how/where this is stored.
thx
January 19, 2015 at 6:47 pm #10793dougModeratorHi martbasi –
We will consider adding functionality to a future build that enables exporting/importing job queue information. In the meantime, this info is saved in the following location:
HKCUSoftwareBatchPatchSavedUserDefinedJobQueues

January 19, 2015 at 8:50 pm #10785martbasiParticipantI see it now, I must have been blind before, thank you!
If I could throw another feature request out there … also in the Job Queue screen, it would be cool to be able to edit existing “Saved User-Defined Commands and Deployments”.
🙂
January 19, 2015 at 8:58 pm #10786dougModeratorThanks for the suggestion. You can currently modify remote and local commands directly from the Job Queue window, but to edit a deployment you have to go to the deployment window separately. We will add your suggestion to the list.

January 19, 2015 at 9:13 pm #10787martbasiParticipantOh – I see it now. The “Create remote command” button also acts as an edit button if you have an existing item selected when you click it. I guess i read it over-literally 🙂
In that case, thanks for already having that function, cancel that feature request, lol. (maybe consider rephrasing? idk, might make the button too big)
January 19, 2015 at 9:23 pm #10788dougModeratorYes – At the very least we will def re-word it to be more clear so that it’s not just ‘create’ but also ‘edit’ or ‘modify.’
Thanks again,
Doug

BTW I exported concerned registry value, no problem for
SavedUserDefinedCommands_RemoteProcess
SavedUserDefinedRegularCommands_RemoteProcess
But when importing SavedUserDefinedJobQueues, the data value is blank. I guess it’s linked to the fact it’s a multiline REG_SZ?
I tried with the GUI and CLI, same result even when trying to export the whole key to a test profile
