I received the batchpatch.zip file when I was promoted to Download to the latest release. I unzipped it and it was the batchpatch.exe. After I launched it, it just launched the current version I have and asked for me to Download it again. Is there a specific way to upgrade it?
Our Anti-Virus removed PsExec and PsKill. I have now added those as exceptions. That being said, when I upgrade BatchPatch will it return those files?
When you are prompted in BatchPatch that there is an updated version available, you can click to download it. Then close your original version and open the new version that you just downloaded. That’s all there is to it. If you are seeing the same version as before then it sounds like you mixed up the old and new versions.
BatchPatch does not use PsKill. As for PsExec, you need to download that from Microsoft.
