I am just starting to use BatchPatch to to update our servers. Rather new to this great app. Hoping for some advice on better steps to follow or fix for synced hosts not getting job queues.
Job queues are
Step1 Syncs ad security group of servers into Batchpatch host list. Using Row template configurator it adds job queue 4 to new machines.
Step2 Runs powershell script to dump security group list of computers to computers.csv file.
Step3 Runs a powershell script to create vms for machines in computers.csv file
Step4 Checks drive space for less than 500mb, Downloads, installs, reboots servers 3 times if needed
Step5 Runs powershell command to delete vm snapshots for computers in computer.csv
I then create a Advanced Multi-Row queue
template1 Runs job queue 1 and 2
template2 Runs job queue 3 to create vm snapshots.
Server1 Runs job queue 4 for patches and reboots
Server50 Runs job queue 4 for patches and reboots
template3 Runs job queue 5 for deleting vm snapshots
template4 Creates Sequence Execution Row. I then schedule that Advanced Multi-Row Queue to a scheduled task for Friday nights.
Problem I am having is the Advanced Multi-Row queue does not get applied to new hosts from step 1.
The schedule runs as expected, new hosts in security group are imported into batchpatch.
Job queue and Advanced Multi-Row queue are filled in for new hosts but no jobs run.
Hosts that were in BatchPatch during advanced multi-row queue follow job queues and everything works as expected.
New hosts dont run any jobs.
And advice would be appreciated. thanks

It sounds like you just have something misconfigured, but I can’t understand well enough what you are describing to tell you what you’re doing wrong. If you want to take another stab at describing again in a different way, as clearly as possible, I’ll see if I can give you a better response. If you think screenshots will help illustrate your issue, feel free to contact us via email, and then we can then get a dialog going to send/receive screenshots along with your description of the issue.
Thanks,
Doug
