I appreciate the new feature that installs feature updates to Windows 10. I’ve done the deployment before of feature updates according to the blog post and that method works great. I use the switch of ‘showoobe’ set to none so that my users don’t have to go through the first steps post-installation.
Can you tell me if OOBE is skipped during BP’s feature update too?
I believe OOBE would only ever be relevant when installing Win 10 from scratch or when upgrading to Win 10 from a different OS. I do not think OOBE is ever presented when applying a feature update to an existing Win 10 installation, regardless of the method that is used to apply it.
