    Hi there,

there is an error if we click OK at the “Run As Service”-Tab saying “BatchPatch encountered an uexpected problem: Object reference not set to an instance of an object”

Thanks. We are not currently able to reproduce this.

Can you tell me does the error occur every time you click OK in that window, or did it happen one time and no longer happens?

Did you update your service instance in addition to your main batchpatch.exe?

Does the software crash or does it continue to function normally despite that particular message?

    Hi doug,

yes it did happen every time we clicked ok. Only way to get out of the window was clicking cancel. All made settings was saved and the software didn’t crash.
And yes I also updated the service instance. Made some restarts and had the error again and again.

Today I can’t reconstruct this error. The only thing that changed since yesterday was a timed BatchPatch Multi Execution running via the service.

I will check this again tomorrow when the next service instance has been running
