Error 1601- The service cannot be started

Hey,

I have few servers in batchpatch which has error 1601: failed to retrieve WMI info. The service cannot be started because it is disabled or it has no enabled devices associated with it. I cannot find any relevant solution to this problem. Did anyone else have this problem ?

This likely means that WMI is broken on the target computers. I would suggest having a look at the following articles for troubleshooting:
