I have added some PCs by adding the MAC address, unfortunately they are not funded…in fact pinging or shutdown I receive the error ” ping failed could not find host” or RPC server is unavailable.

If i ping the hosts using cmd it is working.

    How solve this issue?

    Thanks

MAC address is for Wake On LAN only. You need to use host name or IP address for everything else.

Hi Doug I have tested right now it doesn’t work also using the IP address….I checked also the RPC server setting (firewall – Net property – services etc..) all seems working fine….pcesec is in system32…

I did all the actions suggested (also disabled the firewall) but it didn’t work. I tried at home with my small private network and didn’t work as well (same issue). At home i had the target machine reachable for few seconds just at the beginning and later was not reachable again.

Do you have an agent app to install in the target machines to solve this connection/not found PC issue?

Honestly, this sounds like user error of some kind. If you contact us via email we’ll trade screenshots etc to make sure you are doing everything correctly. I suspect there is something very simple that you are missing that is causing you to have problems.
