New to Batchpatch so I’m probably doing something wrong while running some tests.
I have settings as cache mode (not offline) to eliminate each machine from downloading. I’ve read the scenario #2 BatchPatch Online Cached Mode (All computers have access to the internet).

I added one PC to grid, ran windows update > check for updates. It comes back with two updates. I then run windows update > download updates and it doesn’t download those to cache and it just still shows 2 updates.

    Log file looks like this:
04/20 14:43:14> Windows Update: END (Cached mode: Download available updates)
    04/20 14:43:14> Windows Update: 2 update(s) found
    04/20 14:43:09> Windows Update: Executing BatchPatchRemoteAgent.exe…
04/20 14:43:08> Windows Update: Attempting to initiate Windows Update (Action: Search for updates and retrieve url list: ‘ImportantOnly’ | Server selection: Windows Update) …
    04/20 14:43:08> Windows Update: Establishing connection…
    04/20 14:43:08> Windows Update: Initializing…
04/20 14:43:08> Windows Update: BEGIN (Cached mode: Download available updates)
    04/20 14:43:08> Windows Update: Queued…
04/20 14:42:32> Windows Update: END (Cached mode: Check for available updates)
    04/20 14:42:31> Windows Update: 2 update(s) found
    04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: Executing BatchPatchRemoteAgent.exe…
04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: Attempting to initiate Windows Update (Action: Search for updates and retrieve url list: ‘ImportantOnly’ | Server selection: Windows Update) …
    04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: Establishing connection…
    04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: Initializing…
04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: BEGIN (Cached mode: Check for available updates)
    04/20 14:42:26> Windows Update: Queued…

Am I missing something in order to get these to download?
    Thanks for any help.

I’m not certain what’s happening here. I would need to see more details. You can send us an HTML export (File > Export grid to HTML), as well as a screenshot of ‘Tools > Settings > Windows Update’ for review by reaching out at the BatchPatch contact form.

    Thanks
