Automated export of host column to txt file

Hi Doug,

I’ve seen that there is a task to export the grids to HTML file automatically through customized job queues.

What I would need is the option “Export current grid host column to .txt file” in an automated process. I do need the list of hosts we have in Batchpatch to import that data into another application. For sure I can do this manually but I’m a friend of automated processes.

So do I have a chance to get this working?

We will consider this for a future build. In the meantime you could have your script that is importing the data to another application parse your .bps file quite easily because the hosts will all be written in the .bps file like this:

<columnHost>YourHostNameHere</columnHost>
