Syncronize Grid with LDAP / directory enhancements

Hi

First – Great Feature!!

Now to my suggestion – I don´t want to sync ALL computers in one grid.

In our organization we have servers and workstations in different OU´s (and some people work with servers and other with workstations), so I would like to see a filter where I can specify the whole directory + recursive search and “search only OU=SERVERS”. That would give me a grid with only servers and a possibility to sync with LDAP.

Is that possible?

Hi Mats –

All you have to do is add each desired OU to the sync list. So like…

DomainContoller/OU=Servers,OU=East,DC=MyDomain,DC=com

DomainContoller/OU=Servers,OU=West,DC=MyDomain,DC=com

DomainContoller/OU=Servers,OU=North,DC=MyDomain,DC=com

DomainContoller/OU=Servers,OU=South,DC=MyDomain,DC=com

Once you have added all of your LDAP paths, then you can synch the grid. That’s all there is to it.
