Hi,
the new version 2018.3.28.16.13 removes computers from the grid if they are not in the OU of my active directory.
My problem is, the manuell added computers will also be removed.
Any idea to stop this?
Martin

In either of these lists you may highlight and delete any entries that you want to be excluded before you click OK to perform the synchronization. Select the desired entries and either ‘right-click > delete’, or you may also use the ‘delete’ key on your keyboard. Once the desired computers have been excluded you may click ‘OK’ to complete the synchronization. I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Doug

Some of my grids are pretty large, wich complicates the process a little bit, but I can live with it.
It would be a highlight, if BatchBatch recognizes each row if it was added be sync or manually. But until then I take youre tip.
best regards
April 6, 2018 at 5:05 pm #10427dougModeratorWe’ll consider this for a future version. Thank you for your input.
Another option in the meantime would be to separate the grids so that manually added computers are not in the same grid as synced computers. Or of course you could produce the same functionality as the previous version of BP by simply removing the entire list of computers from ‘Computers to remove from grid’ before completing the sync. However, I’m sure you already considered these possibilities.
Thanks again for the feedback,
Doug

On each of our grids that represent a specific OU in AD, we also have an Email row, a Sequence Execution row for the Advanced multi-row queue sequence, and a manually added Domain Controller host. These 3 always get flagged for deletion when we sync, and it would be a huge relief to not have to worry about them being accidentally removed. Thanks!

Thanks,
