'Pending reboot' question

Hi,

I have the following job Queue set up:

1: Get pending reboot status + reboot if required (force)

2: Check for available updates

3: Download and install updates + reboot always

My question is – If the pending reboot status is TRUE, will it reboot and then continue with the next two steps after it comes back up?

No, that won’t work. I would suggest something more like this:

1: Get pending reboot status + reboot if required (force)

2: Wait 5 minutes

3: Wait for host to be detected online

4: Download and install updates + reboot if required
