    Hi,

I’m trying to get some WMI Info from remote Server (2008R2) and receive an error:

    Error: No such interface supported

regardless what I try to get – CPU info, last shutdown time and so on.

I have necessary permissions on the remote server.

    Please help.

    Regards

    Mikhail

Mikhail – This is not a BatchPatch problem. This is an issue with WMI on that target computer. I would start by rebooting the computer. This might resolve it, but probably not. If not then you’ll need to troubleshoot WMI on that computer, and you might need to rebuild the WMI repository.

    Dear Doug,

thank you for your reply and sorry for a delay with the feedback.

I am not sure what I have to troubleshoot, I am unable to see any error or malfunction on remote server, all event logs are clear.

(It’s 2016 server with SQL Server running on it, so WMIDIAG is not applicable). Checked winmgmt /verifyrepository, it says WMI repository is consistent.

As this is a production server, rebuilding WMI Repository is out of question. Do you probably have some other ideas?
