Offline mode still trying to hit windows.update

I have a grid with about 20 servers listed. BP is in cache/offline mode due to there being no internet access. Out of the 20 server 4 of them say there are updates but when I offline download them and post to be installed. They come back saying no updates available for install.

If I look at the logs it appears they are trying to go out the internet. All machines have the same policy.

Any idea what may be causing this on the 4 machinees?

I’m not quite sure how you are concluding that they are trying to go out to the internet, and I don’t think that’s likely to be the source of the issue here. In order to troubleshoot this, please contact support. We’ll ask to review logs etc so that we can see what’s going on.

The reason I believe its trying to using windows update and download from the internet is because in the logs it shows “Attempt1:Failure: The remote name could not be resolved: ‘download.windowsupdate.com’. HRESULT: 2146233079.

My other systems appear to be pulling the download from my local cache.
