Is it possible to have BP (when setup for cached-mode & offline-mode) install a superseded update file? For instance, I want to install the 2024-10 Cumulative Update and it’s listed in the filtered list, but BP doesn’t appear to find it in the latest wsusscn2.cab, so it doesn’t come up as available in the BPURL file. Do I need to use an older copy of the wsusscn2.cab file?
I’m assuming MS has marked 2024-10 as superseded and only lists the 2024-11 Cumulative Update.
That’s correct. You either need to use the Oct 2024 WsusScn2.cab file or you can manually download the desired update directly from the Microsoft Catalog as a .MSU file, and then use the Deploy feature in BatchPatch to push it to your target computers.
