    Please have a look at the resolution described at this page for that particular HRESULT value ( -102: Failed to execute the search. HRESULT: -2147024894 ) : BatchPatch Error: -102: Failed to execute the search. HRESULT -XXXXXXXXXX

    It was windows related and not batchpatch. Installing silverlight did reset windows update and I was able to update the machines .
