I’ve adopted a technique in my daily work – if I have to do something more than twice to a PC, I add the command to BatchPatch and run it from there. This is amazing, as the next time I have to do that thing, it’s already programmed, and if I need to scale up and do the same thing to hundreds of devices it’s built and tested. Awesome!

That said, sometimes I forget the context a command should be used in, or what I created it for. It would be awesome to have a text field that can accept a little longer text string, say a few hundred characters, that describes when to use it, how to use it, or even where I found the source command (URL even) so I can troubleshoot it properly if needed.

Thanks for the feedback. What about the ‘title’ field? Is this not sufficient? Let me know.

    Thanks,

Title is a good start, but I tend to get wordy (see my original post), a separate field would be easier. Could even be just visible in the grid where the commands are created.

    Thanks. We’ll consider this.
